Project Background

Generation Creative was a passion project that was created through the support of the Obama Foundation’s Community Leadership Corps.

Generation Creative’s mission was to fight the negative stigmas around pursuing a career within the creative field. I, and two other team members, developed a digital storytelling campaign that would share the stories of local Arizona creative to inspire young adults.

 

As the Outreach and Social Media Manager, I was responsible for building brand awareness through Facebook and Instagram.

My experience with this project has included:

  • Building social channels from the ground up.

  • Writing long-form blog posts.

  • Developing a paid social campaign to build brand awareness.

  • Creating visual direction for content creation.
